Well Bernie and I had very good intentions today for his day off - nice beautiful walk at the park, lunch out, good times...except that when we were getting ready to leave Bernie received a message on his cell phone that some lady had our dog. We had let the dogs out in the backyard while we were getting ready and the devils some how got through the side gate and ventured down the street to someone's house that we did not know. Bernie tried to call them back and find out if they had just Reid or both of them, but no answer. Baby starts to cry.... Kayce freaking out...where is Finn? Don't know. Bernie gets in the car, I feed the baby.... Bernie circles the neighborhood several times, no dogs. I finish feeding baby and start to buckle her in her car seat so we can go looking too, and Bernie drives up with both dogs. Relief,,,,but wait there is more.... Bernie gets the dogs out of the car and tells me Finnegan is bleeding and has bled all over his backseat - what the hell. Reid is fine, and is now excited that he has done a self guided walk around the hood and got to top it all off with a car ride. Finn is panting and bleeding all over the front porch...the poor guy had slashed open his back left pad on his paw. To the vet we go. He needs stitches and they may have to put him under anesthesia to do it (oh great, what will this cost???). Luckily, he was very, very good, only had to have one person hold him and they only had to do local anesthesia. He has several stitches, a wrapped up paw and has to take antiinflamatories and antibiotics. This picture was taken before he started to take his bandage off. Now he is prancing around the house with a black tube sock over his left back leg. It's hysterical.

We did finally get out of the house, long enough to get to Target to do some quick shopping and pick up Morgan's pictures. I have scanned them in and here are a few of my favorites, but they are all adorable. They are available on the Target studio website for ordering and viewing as well.
