Ok so the title is misleading, but basically I took the girls swimming yesterday to Kelli's apt. pool and we were in the pool (Abby's first time) all of 15 minutes and it started to get really cold and super dark outside and thundering, so we grabbed up the girls quick and headed to her apartment.

Once inside we warmed up in a warm bath then sat down to watch a movie, when Bernie sent a text asking if we could see the tornadoes - of course I had no clue - so we turned on the TV and there they were- several tornadoes spotted and down about 10-15 miles east of us in Aurora - near Bernie's cousin Tommy's house actually. thankfully no one we know was hurt.
Today was full of adventure - myself and the girls and cousin Allison headed out to Mommy's work, Cherry Creek for an errand, then to the Zoo for a grand adventure and lunch. Morgan loved all the animals and could identify the basic ones, like monkeys, zebras, penguins, lions and giraffes - our hands where full, but we were able to grab these few pictures.
The lioness was hanging out with the "lion king" as Morgan called it, and then got up and walked right up to the glass while Morgan and Allison where standing there and layed right down in front of her. Morgan was thrilled to get this special attention and insisted on showing her the new lunchbox that she had gotten as part of her kids meal.
