Vail, Fishing, Pumpkin Patch & Kellen's Birthday party

TONS AND TONS OF PICTURES THIS WEEK!!!

What a fun filled two weekeends we have had!

We spent last weekend in Vail at Uncle John & Aunt Gail's house. It was a wonderful retreat for us, especially since my parents decided to come up for a few days. It was an odd mix of weather as it was icy, snowy and cold in Denver, but just a few miles in to the mountains, it was clear skies and easy driving, with about 55 degree weather.

We thought for sure this would be Abby's big weekend to learn to crawl, unfortunatly, it didn't happen, just a lot of backwards crawling. But Abby is talking a lot thorugh sign language and is also talking now, saying Baby and Uh oh - clear as day. She also knows her nose, mouth, eye, head, toes, how to tickle her tummy, and where her heart is. Very cute.

While I was at work on Tuesday, my dad just HAD to take the girls to the Cherry Criket - our favorite hamburger place over by our old house - I heard all enjoyed it. Wednesday morning was adventures in music class for me, Morgan and Grandma Dedow - while PapaJim hung out with Abby "all by by himself" - as Morgan would say.

Bernie had the girls out on several adventures for daddy/daughter day on Friday - including a visit to a new Target by our house, Lowes and the Littleton Historic museum and Farm, which also had a fall fest going to. Today we headed over to Kellen McGarvey's howdown 4th birthday party. Morgan was SOOO excited - she had her cowgirl gear on, just chased and played with Kellen and Karter - it was a total sugar fest - with hot chocolate, tons of candy, caramel apples, cracker jacks, juice boxes and cake of course! The party was at the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield - where the corn maze and big pumkin patch is - and today was the pumkin festival,

so we had a our first real pumpkin patch experience and Morgan and Daddy picked out perfect pumkins for our family.

You can tell Morgan had an awesome time - thanks Garveys!!!
