thankfully Friday and Saturday where rather mild days, so although there was snow
on the ground and streets, saturday turned out to be a really great day for Halloween
What a great Saturday! We were super busy at the house cleaning all morning, but as soon as Morgan woke up from her nap at 2pm, we snacked and then bundled up and headed to Old Town Littleton that was having a "Trick or Treat Street" - where the local shops handed out free candy - Morgan got to "practice" Trick or Treating and went from Art Galleries to Restaurants to Pottery places - she and Abby where both big hits!
Morgan was rewarded with a lolipop and a trip to Lowes for being so good (and Mommy really wanted to order a new dishwasher!) - again - the talk of the store - every employee came up to them to say how cute they where and gave them candy out of paint cans.
After a stop to see Kim & Allison and Trick or Treat, We headed home to meet up with Kelli who hung out at the house with Abby and handed out candy so Morgan could walk around with mom and dad -
Morgan LOVED IT! She eagerly went to the doors and knocked or rang the bell and said her best 'Trick or Treat' she was very gracious at first, taking only 1 candy, but several houses said that she was the cutest thing ever and could take as much as she wants - which then lead to knocks on the door and instead of trick or treat a very sweet 'do you have some candy for us?' - which then lead to stoping the other kids and asking them if they had candy for her - everyone was a great sport about it and she literally ran from house to house - it was great.
