I know, I know, it's been 2 weeks - forgive me, but we've been a little bit busy!!!
First up - Abby is crawling - she started the weekend of her birthday but crawled through a tunnel at Sarah's house on my birthday - the best present(going to see Anthony Bourdain's lecture was a great gift from Bernie though - so fun)! Abby is an officially a "cruiser" now - making her way from the living room, past the refrigerator, past the play kitchen and right into the play tent. She also has an expanded vocabulary to include hat, dada, mama, milk, dog, bye, hi, moo, woof, light, this, and of course, uh oh!
OK, so Thanksgiving was a whirlwind -we had a housefull of Binghams and Wrights - which was great - the first time we had all been together for a holiday in many years. We celebrated with a huge feast, wine, and football of course. Bernie even got to go to the Broncos game that night. It was great to see my nephew Tommy (4) playing with Morgan and Abby - he was very good with them and loved playing with Morgan in the kitchen and in the tents.
Tommy, Morgan and Abby also got the special treat of being "practice" for Santa - Santa learned that they were all going to be at our house together and asked if he could practice filling stockings to get ready for Christmas- of course the kids thought this was wonderful and each got some special treats.
