Morgan had several "first" this weekend -
Saturday - Morgan got to ride on the "train" for the first time - a big 10 minute ride on the light rail - she loved it - she loved that she got her own seat, she got to stand up and that it went "super fast" - she was lucky enough to ride with her Aunt kelli - sour grapes for mom though - since it was my idea - I was bummed she didn't pick me to ride with her - is that normal???? moms - help me out!
Sunday - Poopy on the potty!!!! yeah MoMO (that's what Abby calls her). ANd NO, we don't have pictures - we would not subject her or YOU to that!!! She earned herself a lolipop and a chance to wear her underpants (over her diaper). Perhaps it was a fluke moment - as she did not want to go on the potty again all weekend.
Monday - First movie theater movie - Bernie took her to see Princess and the Frog while Abby and I ran errands - the full report from Bernie is that she did great - she switched from sitting in his lap - to sitting in her own chair - to standing and dancing in her chair - about 3/4 through the movie she pronounced taht she was all done -Bernie was able to distract her for about 5 minutes and she decided that yes, it was a good idea to stay and finish watching the movie since they paid for a ticket. She LOVED it - and also wants to go back for her.
Don't worry - Abby received ample attention all weekend long - so much so - that she was pretty much attached to mama - and didn't want to have anything to do with anyone else - she had fun playing baby dolls, helping mommy with laundry - trying some new foods - oh yes, and coloring her toes and feet! It's washable marker - thank goodness.
