It's hard to believe that it is already March and that it is 2010! Time is going so fast!
The girls are thriving - Abby is now 15 months - at her appointment she weighed 18 lbs 6 oz (-3%), was in the 10th percentile on height and 45th on head circumference! The doctor said she looked fine and healthy and no need to really do anything about her weight - just keep her on whole milk and add keep feeding her! It was a great checkup - then we headed up to the foothills for a drive - my good friend Melissa was in town from Texas, so we showed off Evergreen/Morrison/Red Rocks - we were back home relaxing when "the accident happened" - Abby "fell" of the couch while playing with Morgan (note - Melissa and I were sitting right next to the girls!) - after the initial shock of the blood and crying, I realized that she had chipped her newly grown in front tooth - after 2 trips to two different pediatric dentists - we are still in a wait-and-see mode - we go for her evaluation on the 8th, that is when we will learn if the tooth has to be pulled or can be saved. I am praying that it can stay - if pulled- that means NO front tooth until her grown up one would come in around 7 or 8 yo.
The good news is that Abby is not in any pain and is eating all her normal foods and doing fine - so I am hoping that is a good sign. - oh - forgot to mention that at the doctor they discovered she has a double ear infection!!! Poor kid! Her vocabulary is literally off hte charts right now - she knows easily 50 + words and is putting phrases together - like "up mama" or "more bottle please" - and doing signs with it too - it's great.
As for Miss Morgan - she could not be more "2" right now - she is challenging us every step of the way, but then will turn around and be the best big sister to Abby - very emotional little one right now - but doing good -
Both girls just completed a swim class - and it looks like Abby is going to be a our big kicker - Morgan is more of a "chill out" and play on the slide kid.
