Daddy and Grandma Mollie took Morgan to the doctor on Friday to check to make sure she wasn't progressing with a cold like the rest of the house. She does have a little cold, but no need for meds as she doesn't have a fever, but while there, Morgan got weighed in and yes, she weighs 14 lbs!!! At her 4 month visit she was 11 lbs 12 oz - so in less than a month she has gained 2 pounds. Bernie's affectionate nickname of "Baby Hulk" isn't that far of a stretch.
After a cold week and being hudled in the house it was time to get out and enjoy some warm weekend weather,so we packed up and headed to the zoo. Believe it or not, Morgan really liked seeing the animals and being out in the stroller. It was still a bit chilly, but we had her well bundled and had her styling in her sunglasses. She even kept them on the entire time and didn't try to pull them off.
She is really filling out the 3-6 month clothing, as you can see from her little denim coveralls. 
In addition to all the grand discoveries that she has done this week, including her exersaucer, her thumb and fake crying, she also had her 1st experience with peas, sweet potatoes and this johnny jumpy seat. I think the dogs were more interested in the jumper than Morgan.
