Finally, new pictures....

(Summer in full bloom - this rose bush is in our backyard).

Hi All - sorry for the delay in posting pictures - we have had a busy few weeks around here. So sorry I have not been good about posting. OK, where to begin...well Morgan is doing fantastic, which is the first question for everyone. She is having so much fun learning and growing everyday, it is really amazing. She is very good at crawling backwards, flipping herself on her stomach (especially in her crib), standing and she is learning to pull herself up. In just the last two days, she has done what appears to be a 1/2 of a crawl, but it's with a lot of effort - so we are not officially calling her a crawler yet. Maybe by next week - but of course, by then, she may be walking, as she is taking to this much faster than crawling, even taking a few steps when you hold her hands.

As always - she is a water baby - and LOVES the bath tub, her kiddy pool and even the sprinklers - she is also learning to grab cups and drink from a sippy cup, as she is kindly demonstrating in the bath tub!

Kelli and I have been out and about alot - here is a picture of our visit to see Bernie at work - Morgan kept putting this straw in her mouth, then in his, then she learned she could put it in both, and she thought it was just too funny when Bernie would blow air through it. She was so proud of herself for discovering this new invention!
And of course, what would a warm summer day be without a trip to the zoo and some ice cream (2 guesses who's ice cream that is!!!). In addition to this vanilla, she has also had banana gelatto and raspberry gelatto - she likes the sweet stuff like her mommy.
We had a great time at the zoo - she was most interested in the aquarium and all the fish - plus it was nice and air conditioned, so Kelli and I appreciated that - the best was when we were walking around in the monkey area and she kept saying "dada" at the monkeys - I can't make this up - it really happened!!!

And of course, she had to discover the sprinklers with her Aunt Kelli - Kelli just was showing her the sprinklers, but Morgna decided to stick her hand in there - and well, 5 minutes later, she was pretty much soaked from playing in the water. It's great that she likes the water so much and doesn't mind having it go on her face - it certainly makes bath time so much easier.

Here's a peak at our bedroom with the floors all done - it's a huge difference, but we also learned that now that there is no carpet, the person in the bedroom downstairs can hear all the dogs movements - so poor Kelli was up at 7:30am this morning with the rest of us. Here's Bernie w/ Morgan on his first father's day - Morgan's onesie says "My Daddy Rocks" - and she gave her dady a golf club!
