Quick adventure yesterday inside to beat the heat - Started with lunch at Sushi Basho in Littleton - awesome deal for lunch and Morgan of course ate 2 bowls of miso soup with tofu. When we were driving through LIttleton, I was so excited to see that a Penzy's spice shop has opened up there - awesome!
This was our fist visit to the Children's Museum and it was a huge hit! Surprisingly it wasn't that crowded, and they had a temporary outdoor exhibit of local home builders who built play houses - super cool designs and Morgan really liked the firehouse one - which was a great lead in to our first visit in the museum to the fire truck, that she could climb on, push buttons,etc... Then in to the village where there where tunnels, trees to climb on, even a little pond for Abby to hang out on - and of course a garden for Morgan to play with. I was really surprised at how much pretending she was doing - then headed upstairs where they had a dance studio, grocery store, kitchen, basketball court and more for the kids to explore - we loved the museum and will be going back for sure!
We've also discovered these past week that Abby is a little techy girl - she goes batty over the computer at the Fisher Price alphabet game, also Bernie's iphone and the video camera - Abby can now officially hold her bottle, sit up so well and has the nickname "grabby abby" - her reach is SO long - and she is super determined, so you really have to watch her. She is not yet ready to crawl but tolerating tummy time a lot better and now really is interactive with books and toys.
