Snowy Christmas Eve

Morgan likes the snow - but is still not sure about it - she likes to walk on the sidewalk and touch the snow, but not walk through it - I thought I would try to see if she liked to make a snow angel - and she cried, so that would be a no - but here are some cute pictures of the girls checking out the snow...



After a busy afternoon of snow play and a big nap, it was time to set out or plate of cookies and milk for Santa AND to set out food for the reindeer - Morgan specifically wanted chocolate chip cookies for Santa (guess what mom had to bake that morning!) and she and daddy set up the plate - and Morgan wanted carrots and fruit snacks for the reindeer - I asked her earlier in the day if she wanted to write another note to Santa - and she told me what to write - check it out...


Then it was off to Kevin & Janet's for our traditional Christmas eve O'Brien gathering



The girls were a hit with thier holiday outfits on - Morgan very quickly took off from mom and dad to hang out with the cousins and check where Santa was on the NORAD site on the computer and play with Sean & Ali's pup Rudy.

And of course - finish off the evening with a family pyramid - there were several - an all family - an all boys - an all girls - and an all little girls - Abby will have to wait until next year, but Morgan has official joined the pyramid group (and Mommy too - this was my first year!!! - I still don't know why we do pyramids - can someone tell me how this started?)
