Poor little girl Morgan has her first official illness. She started having a runny nose and cough on Saturday evening which I just thought were part of teething. It started getting worse and worse though and after two pretty sleepless nights, we decided to get her to the doctor today.
The good news is that it's nothing serious. She has RSV, which like a cold but a virus. She has a cough, super runny nose, red eyes, and is a bit grumpy. It's been a litte nerve-racking though as her nose has been so stuffed up that she chokes during the night while trying to breath through her mouth with her binky in. She doesn't have a fever, and the doctor told us what to look for to make sure it doesn't get worse. The good news in all of this is that she weighed in today and although she hasn't been eating as much as usual these past two days,at 5 and 3/4 months old, she weights 14 lbs 12 oz. 
Now for my other sickly one- Bernie has been fighting what we think is a cold or some type of bronchial infection. The doctor took a look at him today and gave him a perscription for some cold medicine which should help him sleep tonight, which he really needs.
On a super happy note - my sister is moving to Colorado! She is moving up here in April at which time she will be exploring some business options that we have been considering. Although she isn't 100% sure that she will stay in Colorado, she is taking the summer to explore some new and exciting career options AND spend some quality time with her little niece Morgan.
